Door & Window Trim

Every piece of trim we create is constructed from the finest materials. Alternative wood species are even available to match your doors and windows.

National Millwork creates many varieties and shapes of custom trim products, including entrance door trim and exterior window trim. Both can be ordered as custom window trim packages or custom door trim packages.

Exterior trim can also be constructed of cellular PVC, which is what is shown in the photo above surrounding Andersen windows. PVC is a low maintenance material that doesn't require paint or stain to prevent rotting or splitting like wood.

Computer designed custom carved millwork, including headpieces, pilasters and mull posts can be created to exact specifications.

Pediments are the decorative millwork features above the door and windows

Pediments

Pediments are decorative architectural millwork features for doors and windows that can make a major statement.

A custom home entryway will make a lasting first impression with a door pediment that looks great and is easy to install. To make even more of an architectural statement, you may also consider window pediments, as shown above.

Pediments can be constructed of cellular PVC to resist rotting or splitting, and are paintable with 100% acrylic latex paints. Alternate wood species are available, such as primed pine, mahogany and cedar. All pediments are custom manufactured to fit your specific design, and can be applied to wood window and door units.

You may also consider polyurethane pediments from Fypon.

Pilasters

Pilasters add impressive architectural interest, as they imitate a column with a capital, shaft and base, but only project slightly from the building. The shaft can be plain as shown above or fluted like a column.
